Chinese authorities has recently stressed supporting private enterprises in the movie industry and enhancing Chinese films' global competitiveness to promote high-quality development.

近日，中国有关部门强调，要支持民营电影企业发展，提高中国电影的全球竞争力，以促进高质量发展。

Addressing a work conference in Beijing on March 2，Wang Xiaohui, head of the State Film Administration, said the film industry in China should unleash its consumption potential in rural areas, expand its global presence and harness both movie theaters and online video platforms in its development.

3月2日，国家电影局局长王晓晖在北京召开的工作会议上表示，中国电影产业应释放农村地区的消费潜力，扩大全球影响力，并在发展中利用好线下电影院和线上视频平台。
