China's Hainan province plans to lock in three sectors, duty-free shopping, international medical care and international education, in its drive to become an international tourism and consumption destination by 2025, according to its development plan for the 14th Five-Year period (2021-2025).

近日，海南省印发 “十四五”建设国际旅游消费中心规划，提出重点发展免税购物、国际医疗及国际教育等三个领域，力争到2025年，国际旅游消费中心基本建成。
