China's digital economy reached 35.8 trillion yuan (5.45 trillion U.S. dollars) in 2019, accounting for 36.2 percent of the country's total GDP, according to a report released by the Chinese Academy of Cyberspace Studies.
中国网络空间研究院发布的一份报告显示,2019年,中国数字经济规模达到35.8万亿元(5.45万亿美元),占国内生产总值的36.2%。
Unveiled at the World Internet Conference -- Internet Development Forum, which opened Nov 23 in Wuzhen, in east China's Zhejiang Province, the report said the raging COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of the Internet, while the digital economy has become an important force in reshaping the economy and improving governance capability and a new engine for global economic recovery.
这份报告是在11月23日于浙江乌镇开幕的“世界互联网大会·互联网发展论坛”上发布的。数字经济已成为重塑经济和提高治理能力的重要力量以及全球经济复苏的新引擎。
By the end of May, China's fiber-optic network had covered all urban and rural areas, with the number of fiber-optic subscribers accounting for 93.1 percent of the country's fixed broadband users, the highest in the world, according to the report.
报告显示,截至5月底,中国的光纤网络已覆盖城乡所有区域,光纤用户占到全国固定宽带用户的93.1%,居世界首位。
In 2019, there were 5.44 million 4G base stations in China, and the consumption of mobile-data traffic reached 122 billion GB, ranking first in the world. As of September this year, China had built more than 480,000 5G base stations.
2019年,中国4G基站达到544万个,移动数据流量消费达到1220亿GB,居世界首位。截至今年9月,中国已建成超过48万个5G基站。
China's e-commerce transactions hit 34.81 trillion yuan last year, up 6.7 percent year on year.
去年,中国电子商务交易额达到34.81万亿元,同比增长6.7%。
