The first phase of Huangpu Tram Line 1 in Guangzhou's Huangpu district started service yesterday (July 1). With 10 stations, the initial phase will run between Changping Subway Station (地铁长平站) and Xinfeng Lu (新丰路) station.
The first phase will open to traffic during 6:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. every day, with a departure interval of nine minutes at peak hours (7 - 8:30 a.m.). An one-way ticket will cost two yuan.
