The 2026 Guangzhou Animation and Game Expo (CICF × AGF) kicked off in Guangzhou on October 2nd. According to the 2025 Guangdong Game Industry Development Report released by the Guangdong Entertainment & Game Industry Association, gaming industry revenue in Guangdong reached 283.613 billion yuan in 2025, an 8.90% year-on-year increase. Its share of the national market stood at 80.85%, up from 79.94% in 2024. Meanwhile, the national market generated 350.789 billion yuan, growing by 7.68% during the same period.
