Today, Guangzhou Daily's Learn from Masters launches a new chapter — Apprentice Mai's Overseas Journey — bringing the story of Lingnan culture's journey across the seas to life.

This time, reporter Mai travels to Penang, Malaysia, to explore the overseas legacy of Wing Chun — a martial art that has captivated the world with its unique blend of strength and subtlety. She steps into the training hall of Master Aaron Boey, a disciple of Ip Ching (son of Grandmaster Ip Man), who has been teaching authentic Wing Chun in Penang for over fifteen years.
