On August 29, the Consul General of Greece in Guangzhou led readers through The Odyssey, one of the best-known works of ancient Greek literature, using storytelling, performance and other creative forms. 

Through Odysseus' journey home and its timeless themes of family, wisdom and perseverance, the ancient epic still resonates with audiences today. The Consul General of Greece in Guangzhou also shared her views on how literature can build bridges between cultures.
