On June 13, a thrilling dragon boat race took place on Chebei Creek in Guangzhou, featuring a spectacular "Dragon Return" maneuver that drew huge crowds along both banks.

The Chebei Dragon Boat Race is often hailed as the "Little Guangzhou Race," known for its fierce competition and vibrant showmanship.

Here's the twist: each boat starts at Longxi Bridge, races 300 meters downstream to Shamei Bridge, where a designated flag catcher grabs the "Return Flag" — then immediately pivots to power back upstream 300 meters to the finish. Total course: 600 meters of pure endurance and precision.
