Rudolf, the German general manager of Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe, has plenty of reasons to love the city where he works and lives. Having moved to China in 2015, he says that apart from his native Germany, he has spent the longest time in Guangzhou — and for good reason.
He praises the city's balance of quality of life and work, its rich cultural offerings — concerts, museums, gastronomy — and its convenient location. "It's so convenient to jump on a train — less than two hours you're in Hong Kong," he notes. "That's really what makes Guangzhou an incredibly livable city."
