From May 1 to 5, China Railway Guangzhou Group handled 15.252 million passenger trips, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%, setting a new historical record . 

The passenger flow peaked on May 1, with 3.758 million trips made that single day, also a new all-time high for daily passenger volume.
