On April 28, the world's first 10,800-car Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC), named "GLOVIS LEADER," was named and delivered in Guangzhou's Nansha District. 

The vessel was built by GSI Shipbuilding International in collaboration with CSSC Trading for South Korea's HMM Shipping. With a maximum single-ship capacity of 10,800 vehicles, it sets a new global record for cargo capacity in its class.

GSI Shipbuilding International has secured over 40 PCTC orders to date. Up to now, it has successfully built and delivered 19 units of 7,000-car carriers, six units of 8,600-car carriers, and this latest 10,800-car LNG dual-fuel PCTC, totaling 26 vessels delivered, contributing nearly 200,000 vehicle slots to global automobile trade.
