It reveals that the travel experience of foreign visitors has evolved from distant, fleeting impressions to deep and genuine local immersion.

The report's top 10 destinations for foreign tourists in China are: Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Kunming, and Harbin. High-speed rail, cycling, and hiking have become popular ways for foreign tourists to explore the country's counties.
