Cheng Li-wun, chairwoman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party who is on a visit to the Chinese mainland, said on Friday in Beijing that the meeting between the leaders of the CPC and the KMT is of great significance. She emphasized that as long as the starting point is correct, peace across the Taiwan Strait holds optimistic potential for positive development.
