“Lanyin No.3”: a tiny grass that dominates the pitch
Through efforts of two generations of breeding, this tiny grass traveled south from Lanzhou and broke through the soil in Guangzhou.
It is named “Lanyin No.3” — the top grass for sports lawns in southern China, commanding an 80% market share. Highly resistant to trampling with rapid recovery, it has proven its durability in major events from the National Games to the Asian Games.
This humble grass has nurtured a thriving industry and, more importantly, brought homegrown confidence to China's greenswards.
