The 2026 "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" spring job fair, held on March 15–16 in Guangzhou, wrapped up with record-breaking numbers. Nearly 2,000 employers offered over 85,000 positions; more than 170,000 job seekers from over 2,000 universities nationwide and overseas packed the venue.

Companies' appetite for talent was just as strong. The fair featured nearly 30,000 jobs with annual salaries between 200,000 and 500,000 yuan, and over 4,000 positions paying more than 500,000 yuan. XPENG and GAC offered million-yuan packages, while roles like intelligent ship R&D also commanded salaries up to one million yuan.

Why Guangdong? Robust industrial strength meets a supportive business climate. The province leads in AI, semiconductors, and biotech with complete supply chains. Platforms like Pazhou AI & Digital Economy Pilot Zone and Nansha Science City provide full-cycle support from lab to market.

"Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" is more than a job fair—it's a sincere invitation to global talent. Last year, the initiative drew 1.1 million graduates—roughly one in ten nationwide. This year's opening salvo proves the invitation still resonates.
