The 40-day Spring Festival travel season of 2026 concluded on March 13, with Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport delivering an outstanding performance. According to preliminary statistics, over the 39-day period from February 2 to March 12, the airport handled a cumulative total of 10.19 million passenger trips, making it the first airport in China to exceed 10 million passenger trips during the Spring Festival travel rush.

Notably, on February 22 and February 23, the airport handled 283,400 and 286,400 passenger trips respectively, consecutively breaking the airport's all-time daily passenger volume records.
