A year-long global sales campaign promoting products made in south China's Guangdong province began on January 15 in Foshan, a key manufacturing city in the province.

Known as the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach," the campaign will run through 2026 and is built around four seasonal phases—spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each phase focuses on one of Guangdong's major industries. The spring edition highlights home appliances, mobile phones, clothing and food products.

According to the data, one out of every three smartphones sold worldwide is made in Guangdong, China. But why Guangdong-made phones? Click the video to check it out!
