On December 19, at the 2025 Guangzhou Film Expo, American filmmaker Matthew Kohnen from Los Angeles expressed in an interview that he is very willing to collaborate with filmmakers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Co-productions between China and the United States could be a fantastic way to make a film together, and the star power from both countries would significantly boost the movie's international influence. Although it was Matthew's first time in Guangzhou, he was captivated by the city's blend of international flair and cultural depth. "I’ve been walking around the city, visiting some Buddhist temples, and everyone feels very friendly. I really like here," he shared.
