According to big data from the Qunar travel platform, Guangzhou ranks as the city with the highest hotel bookings during the New Year holiday period. The city's hotel reservations have increased by nearly three times year-on-year, making it the country's hottest destination for New Year celebrations.

Meanwhile, overall tourism popularity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has risen significantly. Flight bookings to cities such as Jieyang, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Foshan have also shown rapid growth.
