The torch relay for China's 15th National Games in Guangzhou was successfully completed on the morning of November 2. The relay connected historical landmarks with modern landscapes— from the Five-Ram Statue (the city's origin totem) to Haizhu Square (a site of modern historical significance), and from the Guangdong Ersha Sports Training Center (cradle of champions) to the Haixinsha Center Stage (the city's living room). The route spanned over 2,200 years of Guangzhou's history while showcasing its vision for the future.
