The 138th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as Canton Fair, will open in Guangzhou on Wednesday and runs through November 4 in three stages.
This edition of the Canton Fair will feature an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, with a total of 74,600 booths and over 32,000 participating enterprises—both figures representing record highs.
To ensure the smooth operation of the event and optimize customs supervision and service, a series of facilitation measures have been introduced.

Efficient Customs Clearance
"Dedicated Canton Fair Channels" have been established at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and the Pazhou Hong Kong and Macao Passenger Port, staffed with multilingual service specialists and intelligent robots to provide full-process customs guidance.
The Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has launched a "Facilitation Service Center for Foreign Nationals," integrating advisory services for visas, accommodation, and transportation with real-time support in 13 languages.
The Pazhou Hong Kong and Macao Passenger Port will operate night ferry services from October 11 to November 10, with port clearance hours extended until 9:30 PM.
Dedicated counters for temporary entry permits have been set up at immigration ports, offering eligible merchants immediate processing and one-stop services.
Foreign business representatives and exhibitors can directly go through customs clearance procedures for their exhibits and related exhibition business via a single website.

Tax Refund Services
Dedicated tax refund counters have been set up within the exhibition hall for the first time, enabling "shopping in Guangzhou, tax refund at the venue." Outside the venue, nearly 1,000 tax-refund stores across the city—including nearly 250 supporting "instant tax refund upon purchase"—are available.
Overseas visitors can also process departure tax refunds at centralized refund points on Tianhe Road and Beijing Road, with the flexibility to depart from any supported port within Guangdong Province.

Convenient Transportation
Five intercity rail lines and 19 metro lines in the city operate in efficient coordination, providing one-seat rides to the core Pazhou exhibition area from Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhaoqing, and Qingyuan. The exhibition hall is 30 minutes from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and within 60 minutes of major cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The Guangzhou Metro has accepted foreign bank cards for tap-to-ride payment, achieving a "seamless passage" experience.
