Liuxi River Light Festival debuts, crafting GZ's new cultural-tourism IP
On the evening of September 28, the Liuxi River Light Festival—a spectacular visual feast—kicked off in Guangzhou's Conghua, also serving as the district's branch venue for the Guangzhou International Shopping Festival.
Projected across a 2,000-square-meter building facade, the show unfolded in three digital chapters, showcasing Conghua's ecological, historical, and cultural essence through dynamic visuals.
“Liuxi's Mist-Clad Sanctuary," newly added to the "Top Eight Sights of Guangzhou" for 2025, is a cultural landmark centered on the Liuxi River's ecological charm. The light festival injects new vitality into this urban name card by intertwining its poetic scenery with futuristic imagination through technology.
Starting September 28, the dazzling light show will become a nightly attraction for residents and visitors. Organizers expressed their hope that it will become an annual IP for Conghua and a must-visit landmark across the Greater Bay Area.
