On September 25, the 2025 Fortune Global 500 Summit was held in Guangzhou. 

This year's summit featured roundtable discussions, the Fortune Global 500 awards ceremony, the "China Tech 50" innovation night, and industrial tours in Guangzhou. It also introduced for the first time the Guangzhou advisory session dedicated to city-enterprise collaboration, aiming to establish a high-level dialogue mechanism between Guangzhou and leading global companies to foster deeper integration of urban strategy and corporate resources.

The Fortune Global 500 Summit has been hosted in Guangzhou for three consecutive years, consistently attracting leaders from the world's top corporations, industry pioneers, and renowned economists and scholars. 

It is reported that 362 companies currently listed on the Fortune Global 500 have invested in over 2,000 projects in Guangzhou. Last year, one out of every seven new foreign-funded enterprises established in China was located in Guangzhou.
