Guangzhou-based autonomous driving company Pony.ai announced on September 20 that it has officially entered the Singapore market through a partnership with ComfortDelGro, the country's largest taxi operator.
The two companies plan to introduce robotaxi services in the Punggol region, with rollout beginning after regulatory approval.
ComfortDelGro brings extensive operational experience with a fleet of more than 29,000 vehicles. Pony.ai already operates commercial driverless services in four major Chinese cities, with over 50 million kilometers of autonomous testing completed globally.

The Singapore expansion is part of Pony.ai's growing international presence, coming just two weeks after the company announced a similar partnership in Qatar.
Pony.ai's global footprint now covers the United States, Singapore, South Korea, UAE, Qatar, and other Asian and Middle Eastern countries, as well as Luxembourg in Europe.
