On September 19, China's first Belt and Road foreign trade integrated service platform of specialized markets was launched in Guangzhou.

The platform, operating on a "1 platform + 3 zones + N services" model, integrates government, business, and lifestyle services to offer one-stop solutions for enterprises and merchants from BRI partner countries. It is designed to streamline cross-border trade, strengthen international ties, and inject new vitality into Guangzhou's export-driven economy.

The initiative received strong endorsement from international attendees. "I came here to exchange ideas and see how international business is done," said Edward Raphael Mashauri from Tanzania in the security service business. He thought that this platform is very helpful for him in networking and exchanging new technology.

Khatibu Makenga, Consul General of Tanzania in Guangzhou, praised the project, "It can give opportunity to business people not only to buy products but also to learn how business can be done in a very efficient way, in a very easy way and in a very modern way."

Home to over 500 specialized markets covering more than 10 million square meters, Guangzhou has long been a national trade hub. With more than 200,000 vendors across 28 industries, the city continues to expand its commercial influence, now bolstered by a new bridge to markets worldwide.
