On August 28, the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport opened a dedicated service centre aimed at making travel smoother for foreign visitors. The new service centre, located at Terminal 2's international arrivals hall, brings together payment, communication, transport, tourism, and business support under one roof.
Designed as a "one-stop" hub, the centre provides comprehensive travel solutions tailored to international passengers:
Payment services: In addition to ATMs for cash withdrawal, staff actively assist foreign visitors in using domestic mobile payment platforms for easier transactions.
Communication: Visitors can quickly obtain local SIM cards and data packages.
Transport: The centre offers guidance on airport buses, metro and taxis, as well as personalized car rentals and city travel cards.
Tourism: A professional travel agency on-site provides customized itineraries integrating vacation, culture, tourism and lifestyle experiences, along with bookings for hotels near the airport.
Business and exhibitions: Dedicated exhibition services support attendees of events such as the Canton Fair with tailored participation plans and recommendations, ensuring smooth business travel.
