Two pioneering medical devices developed in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin have been included in the province's first-ever directory of approved innovative pharmaceutical and medical technologies lately.

The microwave ablation system is said to be the first of its kind globally, integrating real-time respiratory tracking with navigation and microwave ablation technology to target lesions more precisely. The puncture navigation system, the first in China, reduces patients' radiation exposure by providing an alternative to traditional CT-guided procedures.
