A new air freight route has been launched to connect Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, with Miami in the United States.
The inaugural flight, fully loaded with cross-border e-commerce goods, departed from the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on Monday.
The new freighter service cuts transit time to 18 hours, saving five hours compared to previous connecting routes, and allowing same-day or next-day delivery.
The air cargo route currently operates one scheduled flight per week, with plans to increase frequency as cargo demand grows.
