As early summer arrives in May, thousands of acres of lychee groves in Zhuyuan Village, Xiancun Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, are turning into waves of red, with the "Sanyuehong" lychee—known as the "first fruit of early summer"—now at its peak flavor.

According to incomplete statistics, at least 20 groups of buyers from across the Greater Bay Area visited Zhuyuan Village daily recently, with transactions exceeding 100 tons per day.

Meanwhile, in Guangzhou's Conghua District, Sanyuehong lychees are also ripening, recently welcoming the first batch of visitors for in-orchard picking.
