On May 10, 2025 (local time), Venice Biennale's 19th International Architecture Exhibition opened. At this "Olympics of Architecture," the Guangdong rural revitalization project "Langtou Experiment" was invited to showcase at the themed pavilion, making it China's first rural revitalization project selected for the Venice Biennale's thematic exhibition with a comprehensive approach of "Rural Construction + Practice."

At the exhibition opening, the Guangdong artist Wen Qiuwen illuminated the winding canals of Venice, the "City of Water," with Langtou fish lanterns intricately woven from bamboo strips aboard iconic Venetian gondolas, creating a dialogue between tradition and modernity on the global stage.
