Recently renovated to welcome the 15th National Games, Guangzhou’s Tianhe Sports Center has completed a comprehensive upgrade. The iconic venue now features a 1,000-meter outdoor circular track certified by World Athletics standards, while its redesigned public spaces embrace an "open-for-all" philosophy—transforming the 1980s-era complex into a multifunctional urban hub blending elite competitions, community fitness and cultural tourism.

From May 10 to 11, the revitalized stadium will gain the global spotlight by hosting the Guangzhou leg of the World Athletics Relays, marking a vibrant new chapter for this historic landmark.
