During this year's Qingming Festival holiday (April 4-6), Guangzhou Railway Group handled a record-breaking 7.648 million passenger trips, a year-on-year increase of 711,000 trips (up 10.3%). 

The transportation volume has set a new historical high for Qingming holiday periods. Particularly on April 4, the railway saw 3.038 million passenger trips in a single day, surpassing this year's previous daily record of 2.46 million trips set on January 25 during Spring Festival travel season.

These figures demonstrate the enhanced transportation capacity of the Greater Bay Area's rail network, showcasing its ability to efficiently manage large passenger flows during peak travel times.
