On March 10, the 2025 Boluodan Temple Fair kicked off in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, featuring spectacular opening performances like sea worship rituals, dragon dance, lion dance, and martial arts.

The Boluodan Temple Fair, with a history spanning over 1,400 years, is one of the largest cultural events in South China, celebrating the legendary birthday of the South China Sea God. It was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage of China in 2011.
