Varya, a Russian native, and her Tanzanian husband, Sam, first met in China and began their cross-cultural romance in 2008. After getting married, the couple settled down in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, where they have ever since raised their three children. Like many Guangdong-born children, their kids love dim sum and hot pot, use chopsticks skillfully, and trust Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for wellness care.
