According to latest statistics released by Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, during the Spring Festival, all 404 museums in the province were open to the public, presenting over 1,000 basic exhibitions, some 200 special Spring Festival exhibitions, and some 400 festive activities, and attracting a total of 5.457 million visits.

Among the top 10 museums with over 100,000 visits, there are four in Guangzhou, including the Memorial Hall at the Former Site of Huangpu Military Academy, the Cantonese Opera Art Museum, the Nanyue King Museum, Guangdong Museum (including Guangzhou Lu Xun Memorial Hall).
