On Jan 13, the 300-day countdown to the 15th National Games, the first batch of the official licensed merchandise for the Games was unveiled in Guangzhou, including prodcuts of the two adorable mascots Xiyangyang and Lerongrong.

Xiyangyang and Lerongrong are modelled after the Chinese white dolphin, a national first-class protected wild animal, meaning "Joyful”and “Harmonious”respectively in Chinese, embodying the spirit of joy, harmony, reunion and beauty.

The Pearl River Estuary is the world's largest habitat for Chinese white dolphins.
