Guangzhou Metro Line 11, Guangzhou's first metro circle line, will be put into operation by the end of this year. A trial ride of Line 11 was presented by Guangzhou Metro for the local media on December 19.

With a total length of 44.2 kilometers, Line 11 has 31 stations, 26 of which are interchange stations that can interchange with nine existing lines and seven lines planned or under construction in Guangzhou.
