A food event themed on Cantonese cuisine and the 15th National Games was held at the Guangzhou Hotel in Beijing on December 18.
A total of 15 creative Cantonese dishes, produced by time-honored Cantonese cuisine brand Guangzhou Restaurant, were presented at the event, each with an auspicious name related to the 15th National Games.
Common food materials in Cantonese cuisine such as abalone, chicken, sea bass, shrimp, winter melon and lotus seed were used in the dishes in an innovative way to create new tastes.
