BRI & Me | Episode 8: China-aided Kamchik Tunnel facilitates transportation of Uzbek people “我从‘一带一路’来”系列采访第八集:中国援建的卡姆奇克隧道方便了乌兹别克斯坦人民的交通出行

Uzbekistan is an ancient civilization along the ancient Silk Road. From trade to cultural exchanges, the friendship between China and Uzbekistan has spanned thousands of years. In recent years, cultural exchange activities launched in Uzbekistan such as "Chinese Bridge" and "Happy China Tour" have brought the two countries closer.

The China-aided Kamchik Tunnel in Uzbekistan, the longest tunnel in Central Asia, officially opened to traffic in June 2016. It has improved the traveling condition of the local people and ended their history of having to travel over mountains or through other countries.

Bai Lu (Charoskhon Ziyaeva), an Uzbek student studying at Guangzhou's Ji'nan University, was impressed by the construction of the Kamchik Tunnel. Let's listen to her story.
