​BRI & Me | Episode 5: China-aided fishing port project gives boost to environment of Guinea-Bissau port area “我从‘一带一路’来”系列采访第五集:中国援建渔业码头项目大大改善几内亚比绍港区环境

Started from October 23, 2018, it took nearly five years for engineers and workers from China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group to complete the Alto do Bandim Fishing Port Expansion project in Guinea-Bissau, one of the most important fishing grounds in the Atlantic Ocean.

The China-aided project under the BRI has effectively increased local employment, promoted the export of fish products, significantly improved the environment of Guinea-Bissau's port area and solved the unloading problem for local fishermen.
