A pith painting exhibition opened on a waterbus in Guangzhou on May 25, showcasing 42 copies of pith painting works housed in Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs Museum. 

Called “Postcards from Canton” by foreign merchants, pith painting works depicted the landscape and the people in Guangzhou and were once popular in the 19th century.
