Twelve Chinese cities were evaluated as the top 100 most valuable cities in the world, according to a ranking released by brand value evaluation agency GYbrand on Feb 26, 2023 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
The top 100 most valuable cities are from 47 countries, with the United States taking the lead with 20 and China taking second with 12.
Cities are valued by six indexes including economy, governance, culture, life, image and potential, according to the agency.
Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing are ranked in the top 10 of the list, with Guangzhou ranked at 29 and Shenzhen at 34.
