Ham Chim Peng (Cantonese fried dough) is a kind of traditional fried dough especially popular in Guangdong province.

Red-colored Chinese fermented bean curd is often used to make this donut–like treat.

This video features Ham Chim Peng produced by Lam's Congee (林记粥品店) which has been in the business for 44 years.

It is praised by many local customers as “the most delicious Ham Chim Peng in the universe.”

This Ham Chim Peng is definitely worth eating.

With a golden color, it has a crispy outer layer and a tender inner, which makes a best Ham Chim Peng.

Our customers always say, “You have the most delicious Ham Chim Peng in the universe.”

Many chefs from grand hotels like White Swan Hotel used to buy our Ham Chim Peng.

Eating deep-fried Ham Chim Peng may increase the internal heat  in the body.

If you eat it with heat reducing pork congee and coriander, that won't happen.

Before China's opening up, my family were poor and had little pork to share.

Then my mom thought of earning a living by making Ham Chim Peng.

Beginning with street peddling along the Daxin road, we've been in the business for 44 years.

It cost less than one yuan in the beginning and now costs eight yuan.

The repeat customers often ask me to keep the business on.

However, I'm in my 60s now. I will keep doing as long as my health permits. That's all about years' devotion for me.
