1. A caterpillar of golden butterfly, a nationally protected species, was found in South China Agricultural University on August 28, after its disappearance in downtown Guangzhou 20 years ago. Scientifically known as Troides aeacus (金裳凤蝶), it is one of the most beautiful butterflies in the world. Its body is yellow with black accents, and its wings shift between purple and green in different light. The caterpillar's appearance indicates the city's great improvement of ecological environment.
