1. Starting next Monday, non-local arrivals to Macao will have to show that they have enough money to support themselves to stay in the city, according to a new chief executive order on November 8. People planning to stay in Macao for seven days or less must carry MOP 5,000 upon arrival, and those planning to stay longer than three weeks will need MOP 20,000

2. To encourage car consumption, Guangzhou will increase vehicle registration quota for fuel-efficient cars to 80,000 during the 2021-2022 period, as part of the Guangdong provincial government’s measures to boost city consumption, which released on November 9. The province also planned to give out shopping vouchers to consumers.



3. Tieshui Lianyun (铁水联运), a railway and waterway combined transportation service, was recently launched through the 12306 APP, China's official railway ticket reservation mobile phone platform. Passengers heading to Hainan province can now purchase just one ticket through the app to enjoy interchanges of railway, ferry and bus services cross the Qiongzhou Strait.



4. Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition will be held from November 19 to 28. More than 1,000 branded vehicles from home and abroad will be displayed at the exhibition, with 54 cars to make their world debuts.
