The 47th session of the UN Human Rights Council adopted on July 13th a resolution urging for actions to tackle systemic racism against Africans and people of African descent.

7月13日，联合国人权理事会第47届会议通过了一项决议，旨在敦促采取行动，解决针对非洲人和非洲人后裔的系统性种族主义问题。

Recalling the tragic murder of George Floyd in Minnesota, U.S, on May 25, 2020, the resolution says that the event drew attention to the scourge of systemic and structural racism and galvanized efforts to address this global problem in the United States and around the world.

决议回顾了2020年5月25日乔治·弗洛伊德在美国明尼苏达州惨遭杀害的悲剧，同时指出，该事件引发了人们对系统性和结构性种族主义危害的关注，并推动了美国和世界各地努力解决这一全球性问题。

The resolution notes that the transatlantic slave trade is among the major sources and manifestations of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, and that Africans and people of African descent, Asians and people of Asian descent and indigenous peoples were victims of these acts and continue to be victims of their consequences.

决议指出，跨大西洋奴隶贸易是种族主义、种族歧视、仇外心理和相关不容忍行为的主要根源和表现之一，非洲人和非洲人后裔、亚洲人和亚洲人后裔以及土著人当年是这些行径的受害者，现在仍是其后果的受害者。
