A special offer for coffee lovers, the Guangzhou Coffee & Foodie Festival will kick off next Tuesday (December 15) at Polly World Trade Center (PWTC Expo), Pazhou and run through December 17. It is an important part of the Hotelex Guangzhou 2020 expo (广州国际酒店用品及餐饮博览会) to be held at the same period, which will display beverages, catering equipment, hotel amenities and cooking ingredients.

The three-day coffee gala will bring together over 60 domestic and international cafe brands, allowing visitors to taste a vast array of coffee, beverages and snacks for FREE! Among the participating cafes are Ocean Grounds featuring California style; Philocoffea from Japan, whose founder was crowned champion at the 2016World Brewers Cup (WBrC); 7-Inn Yuyuan Coffee and Bean2cup from Guangzhou; Voyage Coffee from Beijing; and Blacksheep Espresso from Shanghai.
A special roster of lectures and workshops are scheduled at the venue where cafe founders and barista will share their distinctive skills and experience in making both appetizing and good-looking coffee.

Highlights of this year's event also include regional contests of several international coffee- and delicacy-related competitions, such as the World Brewers Cup (WBrC), World Barista Championship (WBC), World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and World Coffee Roasting Championship (WCRC), as well as the 8th Shanghai Fashion Drinks Competition and 2021 Shanghai Pizza Master Competition

Coffee enthusiasts who are occupied on weekdays can have another chance to sample all kinds of coffee at the upcoming boutique coffee culture festival. The four-year-old coffee carnival will welcome foodies at the 289 Art Park next weekend, on December 19 and 20.
Over 50 popular coffee brands from the Pearl River Delta as well as appliances and coffee bean manufacturers will attend the event, greeting visitors with featured products as well as cultural activities. Further, stallholders will introduce special coffee products that are only served at this festival, along with delicate desserts far beyond cookies and cakes, to whet participants' appetites.

Concerts, outdoor movies, and games—such as voting for your favorite brand among 10,000 cups of coffee, or painting your own coffee cup—are also scheduled to heat up the gala.
