China's State Council has issued a set of guidelines on carrying out the patriotic public health campaign in a deep-going way. The document calls for efforts to summarize and publicize the country's successful experience in COVID-19 prevention and control, strengthen the application of big data, effectively prevent and control infectious and chronic diseases, and improve people's health, so as to lay solid foundations for building a healthy China.

国务院近日印发《关于深入开展爱国卫生运动的意见》。《意见》要求总结推广新冠肺炎疫情防控中的有效经验做法，强化大数据应用，有效防控传染病和慢性病，提高全民健康水平，为实现健康中国目标奠定坚实基础。

More work should be done to step up sewage and garbage treatment, advance the "toilet revolution" to improve sanitation of toilets, ensure drinking water safety and strengthen vector control, it says.

《意见》指出，在加强污水和垃圾处理、推进“厕所革命”以改善厕所卫生、确保饮用水安全以及加强病媒控制方面，还有更多工作要做。
