The Chinese government on Thursday (November 25) unveiled holiday arrangements for 2021.
There will be 31 days off for major holidays, including the New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, International Labor Day, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day, according to a plan approved by the State Council.
New Year's Day holiday
Jan. 1-3 (three days off)
Spring Festival holiday
Feb. 11-17 (seven days off)
February 7 (Sunday) and 20 (Saturday) will be turned into workdays.
Tomb Sweeping Day holiday
April 3-5 (three days off)
Labour Day holiday
May 1-5 (five days off)
April 25 (Sunday) and May 8 (Saturday) will be turned into workdays.
Dragon Boat Festival holiday
June 12-14 (three days off)
Mid-Autumn Festival holiday
Sept. 19-21 (three days off)
September 18 (Saturday) will be turned into a workday.
National Day holiday
Oct. 1-7 (seven days off)
September 26 (Sunday) and October 9 (Saturday) will be turned into workdays.
