The Lingnan Flower Market (岭南花卉市场) in Guangzhou, the biggest and most comprehensive flower wholesale market in China and even Asia, will be upgraded into a multichannel and multifunctional complex for flower wholesale, retail and display, according to a renovation plan of the Wuyanqiao village.
According to the plan, the market, with a planned area of 160,000 square meters, will be equipped with exhibition halls of fresh flowers and bonsai trees, supporting service center for weddings, areas for flower arrangement and culture training, and an e-commerce business center.

The market was relocated to the Wuyanqiao Village in Area B of Lingnan Flower Base, Liwan district in August, about 1,000 meters away from its previous location. Spreading an area of 60,000 square meters, the relocated market is home to 1,465 shops and stalls and teeming with blooming flowers in a riot of colors, making it one of the most visually appealing marketplaces in the city.

At present, the trading market is divided into different sections based on flowers on sales, such as lilies, roses, orchids and lotus. This “Flower Wonderland” greets flower-lovers with abundant, high-quality blossoms from home and abroad with a reasonable price. Buyers can even get a bundle of roses at as low as eight yuan, and a bunch of daisies at 10 yuan.

To boost flower consumption, the market also offers online channel for flower purchase at its official WeChat account, "五眼桥岭南花卉市场" (ID: gh_ed416b5f496b), and mini program "易批花". Customers can "stroll" amid flowers on the cloud-based platform, select their favorite flowers, make the payment and get them delivered to the door.
